 HOW LONG SHOULD MY HAIR BE FOR A BRAZILIAN OR BIKINI WAX?

Your hair needs to be between 1/4" - 1/2" long for best results. This is typically two weeks of hair growth and the hair should be about the length of a grain of rice. This also goes for any body waxing. 

WHAT TYPES OF WAX DO YOU USE FOR BRAZILIANS?

We use hard wax for Brazilians, which is a strip-less wax. This helps make waxing painless. 

HOW LONG IS A BRAZILIAN APPOINTMENT?

Our Wax Artists are trained to do Brazilian waxes quickly and efficiently. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.

 WHAT IS THE MAINTENANCE?

We recommend coming back every 3-4 weeks for Brazilians and to gently exfoliate daily to prevent ingrown hairs. 

 WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER?

Your skin may be a little red and tender for a couple of hours after a wax, this is normal. You want to avoid tanning beds, spray tanning, swimming pools and hot tubs 24 hours before and after waxing.

 CAN I GET WAXED DURING MY CYCLE?

It is perfectly fine if you come during that time of the month, but your skin may be more sensitive.

 I'M TRYING TO GROW OUT MY BROWS. SHOULD I STILL MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

A lot of our clients come in wanting to have fuller brows. Together we can reshape and teach you what areas to leave alone and where to clean up.

WHAT IS BROW TINTING?

Brow tinting is a special dye that lasts up to 6 weeks on the hair and up to 2 weeks on the skin. We can also do this service on clients with already dark hair and the dye on the skin is a guideline as the tint fades. We carry 7 different shades to match any hair color. You can get them wet 1 day after your appointment. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BROW CLEAN UP AND A BROW TWEEZE?

A brow tweeze is for clients who are using products such as Retin-A or other acne medications and they cannot get waxed. A brow clean up is done with either a hard or soft wax. Both services include shaping and trimming.

WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?

Brow lamination is a technique that redirects the brow hairs. Brows that are laminated can be directed upwards, sideways or downwards to create a different brow texture.
A feathery brow effect can be achieved as well as correcting brow growth patterns.

Brow lamination is a chemical process, so it is important to follow all aftercare instructions to keep your brow hairs healthy.

Lasts 4-6 weeks.

 AFTERCARE

During the first 24 hours following your brow lamination, avoid water, steam and sweat. Don't touch or apply makeup to your brows, and be careful how you sleep on them to ensure they stay in their new direction. 

After 24 hours, you can use all your normal products again. After showering or washing your face, brush your brows into place again. Keep your brows hydrated with a keratin treatment or any hydrating oil you would use on your hair.
