LASH FAQ

LASH EXTENSIONS

WHY CHIC?

We only use high quality products and hand pick all our artists to ensure the value of work that comes from CHIC. We focus on lashing 90% or more of the natural lashes during each full set or fill appointment. This allows clients to have fuller lashes for a longer period and may help space out appointments an extra week - week 1/2. We guarantee our work, so if for any reason you are unhappy, contact us within 3 days of your appointment and we'll happily fix any issues.

WHAT TYPES OF LASH PRODUCTS DO WE USE?

Jasmine, the owner of Chic, created her own luxury lash line which is lash artist and client approved. Our lashes are a deep matte black color and hold their curl through time. Our Chic adhesive is formaldehyde & latex free. We offer various curls, lengths, thickness, and colors to give our guests a unique set to compliment their eye shape.

WHAT LASH STYLE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

With lash extensions, there are unlimited options to choose from so we break it down to 4 categories: Curl, Length, Fullness, and Shape. Before each appointment we'll consult with you and talk about each one to give you your desired look.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO GET FILLS?

To maintain the life of your lashes it is recommended that classic fills be done every 2-3 weeks. Clients should come in for a fill when 50% of their lash extensions have shed. Clients with less than 40% will be considered a full set.

WHAT IS A LASH TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT?

Our touch ups are timed for a 30 minutes. We recommend booking a touch up if you need to add a little more coverage in a certain area or for special events.

WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS RUIN MY NATURAL LASHES?

No, this is a common myth. Eyelash shedding is part of the natural eyelash life cycle. The average person sheds between 2-5 lashes on each eye daily. That is why it is necessary to come back for fills every 2-4 weeks. If applied correctly eyelash extensions will not hurt your natural lashes or cause premature shedding. CHIC will keep the integrity of your natural lashes. We will not apply lashes that are too heavy or long for your natural lashes to hold.

 LASH LIFTS

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

Lash Lifting is a technique where a Lash Artist will use a curling agent and conditioning solution to lift your natural lashes. A Lash Lifting services also includes a Lash tint to darken the lashes and a finishing keratin treatment. If you are sensitive to Eyelash Extensions, Lash Lifts are a great alternative and requires less maintenance.

WHAT TYPE OF LASH LIFTING PRODUCTS WE USE?

We use the Elleebana One Shot Lash Lift for Lash Lifting services.

HOW LONG DO LASH LIFT RESULTS LAST?

Lash Lifts last 6-10 weeks depending on the lash shedding cycle. The service only takes about 1 hour to process.

 WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE?

Minimal aftercare is required! Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24 hours and avoid all oil based products for longer lasting results. After the first 24 hours, you can swim, wear makeup, and do what you normally would do without worrying about it affecting the Lash Lift!

CAN I GET LASH LIFTS IF I'M PREGNANT?

Although safe, chemicals may not work as they normally would and results may vary during pregnancy.

LASH CARE

BEFORE APPOINTMENT

Oils and makeup residue on your lashes prevent the adhesive bond from fully attaching the extension to the natural lash so cleaning them before your appointment is ideal. Clean lashes get more lashing time, dirty lashes get more cleaning time.

HOW TO CLEAN LASHES

Our CHIC É CLEAN lash cleanser is tear free and gently cleanses in between each lash.

  1. Dispense 2-3 pumps of the foaming cleanser into palm of hand or directly to the eye area. Using a mascara wand or cleansing brush massage the lashes while focusing on the lash line.
  2. Rinse with water and gently pat dry
  3. Once your lashes are dry brush with a mascara wand to keep them uniform.

Many of our clients have expressed how much longer their lashes last since using our cleanser! Purchase Chic É Clean in store and online $10.
